NEWS: I'll work till people want me to: Shah Rukh
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has successfully achieved what he dreamed of, says he will work till people want to see him on screen.
"I feel I was in the industry at the right time and I am very proud and thrilled that lot of things are changing with the films," Shah Rukh, 47, said during a press conference of Nerolac Paints, where he launched its new initiative "Change The Paint".
"When I came in (Mumbai) that time it was only about romantic films. Now things are changing and the journey has been great. I will keep working till people want to see me," he added.
In a career spanning two decades, the actor has achieved whatever he dreamed of. He says an individual should keep dreaming, but at the same time shouldn't move away from reality.
"Everyday a new dream is born. It is nice to keep on dreaming. I dream to make different films, I want to see my kids healthy. But I feel you have to be rooted in reality before dreaming. Believe in reality at the first place and get your education first," he said.
"Right now I am in a position where I can afford to do anything but when I just started off that time my dream was to have a house, car and everything," he added.

NEWS: Awards still make SRK excited
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has won a plethora of trophies in his two-decade career in the Hindi film industry, but the awards still leave him excited as ever.
The actor won two awards - Entertainer Of The Year and Best Romantic On-Screen Couple along with co-star Katrina Kaif - for his film "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", at the Big Star Entertainment Awards held here Sunday night.
" 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' will always be a special film for me. I will always be thankful to Yash-ji. I get really excited with awards. No matter how many I have got, they have the same affect on me, like they did when I was new in the industry. I almost become like a kid in the candy store," said Shah Rukh.
Shah Rukh and Katrina were also named the Best Romantic On-Screen Couple for the same film.
"This was the first time I worked with her and see what happened! Katrina is a very hardworking girl and it was a pleasure working with her. And as far as romance is concern, I am the best one here," quipped Shah Rukh.
"Jab Tak Hai Jaan" was Yash Chopra's last directorial venture, before he passed away Oct 21.

The 47-year-old was in Malaysia to attend the birthday party of Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohammad Thursday evening.
"It is an honour to be given the BrandLaureate Legendary Award. It is always a pleasure to be amongst friends and to be given so much love and motivation to do better," Shah Rukh said in a statement.

NEWS: SRK never-seen-before action hero in Chennai Express
One is Bollywood's uncrowned king of romance, known to strike a pose on streets while singing for the woman he's wooing. The other is famous for making masala action films, where the hero gets down and dirty, beats up a dozen baddies and makes cars fly.
So what can you expect when Shah Rukh Khan (his last release, the Rs. 100 cr grosser, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, reaffirmed his romantic hero status) and director Rohit Shetty come together?
It seems, next year, SRK will don a completely new avatar. The actor's next is Rohit Shetty's action film, Chennai Express, in which he stars opposite Deepika Padukone. Rohit, part of whose fame rests on being the director of Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham (2011), is all set to make SRK perform stunts like he never has before.
A source close to Chennai Express says, "Rohit's films are popular for the action scenes. Whether they are comedies, like the Golmaal series, or they involve hand-to-hand combat, like Singham did, they have masala action, and Chennai Express will be no different. Audiences would never have imagined SRK performing stunts of this sort." Hard as it may be, try to picture SRK in Singham or Rowdy Rathore.
Currently, the film's (jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment) 15-day schedule is in progress in Wai, near Satara in Maharashtra. The source adds that the action-packed sequences are currently being shot there.
"Out of the 15 days, seven days have been kept aside just to shoot the action scenes. And this will be raw action. It will have a dash of the south too. Audiences will see SRK do what Ajay Devgn has done before (in Singham, for instance)," reveals the source.
However, this doesn't mean Shah Rukh is new to the genre. His action repertoire includes Farhan Akhtar's Don (2006), Don 2 (2011) and Anubhav Sinha's RA.One (2011).
However, most of these films comprise classy, stylised action. The source says, "A lot of that is computer-generated. In the case of this film, there will be one hero who will take on five villains at one time."

NEWS: Indonesia grooves to SRK's beats
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan took his Indonesian fans by storm as he grooved with his friends, actresses Preity Zinta, Rani Mukerji and Bipasha Basu, as part of his Temptations Reloaded tour in Jakarta.
Shah Rukh made his stage-entry on a bike, sending the huge crowd at Sentul International Convention Center, Jakarta, into a frenzy of excitement.
"This time I didn't get a chance to roam around in Jakarta. But I have always felt strongly that one can always tell how beautiful the place is by the people one meets there. Jakarta is a lovely place and the love that I got from the people there was my 'feel good factor'," Shah Rukh said in a statement.
"I say that because I have been rushing around these days from film festival to movie shoot and then to Jakarta. It has been a mad rush, but the love I got at Jakarta made it all worthwhile," the actor added.
Shah Rukh enjoys being part of such live shows.
"Doing shows like this is a fine experience of being part of the entertainment industry. Last time we did Temptations was in 2004. The years after that, I and all my friends, who were part of the show got busy. So we decided to start off again and that's why it's called Temptations Reloaded," said Shah Rukh.

NEWS: I've soft corner for Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir: Rani Mukerji
Candid Rani Mukerji has confessed she has a soft corner for all three Khans of Bollywood-Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir- with whom she worked at an impressionable age.
"I have a soft corner for Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir because at an impressionable age, I worked with them. I was 17-18. At that age, you look up to some people and that always remains irrespective of whatever happens," the actress said in a group interview.
"Your comfort level with them is such that you can't compare it with any other co-star. The kind of love and support they showed towards me when I was a newcomer will stay with me for life," said the 34-year-old who acted with Shah Rukh Khan in "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" and "Paheli".
With Salman, she featured in "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke," "Baabul" and more
She worked with Aamir in "Ghulam" and "Mangal Pandey" and will now be seen with him in "Talaash" releasing Nov 30.
"I always treated myself as a youngster or as a learner in front of two people-Aamir and Shah Rukh-as I started my career with them. So I do look up to them in a different way. I may not be shy in front of them any more, but I learn a lot from them. When they suggest anything to me, it's important for me to take their suggestion," she said.
"Talaash" is her second release this year after Anurag Kashyap's "Aiyyaa", which failed to impress her fans.
"I would not want to be a part of any project that I feel would not work. An actor like me always wants to work to get appreciation of the audiences. And appreciation can only come if people will come to watch the film.
"In 'Aiyyaa', probably people didn't come. It is a very sad situation for me. We actors always crave for adulation," she said.
Moving on is the best way to tackle failure and success in life, she said.
"I don't really get stuck in a time warp where if my film is a success, I have to keep partying till the next one releases or if my film is a flop, I keep wallowing in sorrow until the next comes my way.
"My hard work in each film is always there. Till date, nobody has pointed out a flaw in my acting. At least they say Rani's film didn't work, but she was fabulous. I work towards maintaining that," she said.
A film's box office performance cannot be predicted, she said.
"We are not saints, gods, spiritual human beings that we can sit and decide whether a film will do well or not. It is not in our hands," she said and added that nothing was frustrating.
"You are a worker. How can your work give you frustration? From childhood, we're taught that there will be good days; there will be bad days; you will win some and lose some. But because of that you don't become negative, frustrated and depressed," she said.
Variety is important for Rani and she makes sure each assignment adds something to her body of work.
"It could get saturated or monotonous if I would do the same characters again and again. That is why to save myself from that feeling, I take time out to choose roles that excite me," she said.
For variety, Rani has collaborated with new directors Rajkumar Gupta and Sachin Kundalkar in "No One Killed Jessica" and "Aiyyaa".
She says working with seasoned directors and with new ones have their own advantages and disadvantages.
"With experienced directors, you gain experience and with new ones, you get energy and spirit," she said.
NEWS: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone shooting for 'Chennai Express'
Instead of celebrating the success of his recent hit 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', superstar Shah Rukh Khan has already moved on and is busy shooting his next film 'Chennai Express' at breakneck speed. The film has SRK paired opposite Deepika Padukone and is directed by Rohit Shetty.
As the name suggests, the train journey forms a pivotal part of the story. In the picture, SRK is seen doing a repeat of his famous scene from 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (DDLJ) only this time, it's Deepika and not Kajol and she seems to be walking slowly rather than running to catch the train. Moreover, while DDLJ's train sequence was shot in the EURAIL, it's the Indian Railways here that forms the backdrop of 'Chennai Express'. Also what's interesting is Deepika's look in the film which resembles that of a typical South Indian village belle.
Chennai Express is slated to release in 2013.
